Inside the 2024 SIA Women in Security Forum Power 100

The SIA Women in Security Forum will recognize the Power 100 honorees as part of its WISF Keynote event at ISC West in Las Vegas April 12.

“Raised to the ‘power of 100’ in math denotes exponential multiplicity,” says SIA WISF chairperson Alice DiSanto in the association announcement. “Quite frankly, so does the SIA WISF Power 100.

“Whether you’ve known about the Power 100, been at ISC West to see the Power 100 or have been included in the Power 100, all of us feel the multiplicity that the recognition of women within the industry will bring to the future of security,” she says.

The Power 100 announcement comes on International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and presenting a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

“There are those special moments each year when the entire industry is collectively inspired,” says SIA CEO Don Erickson in the association announcement. “Defined by individuals who demonstrate grit, expertise and leadership, the WISF Power 100 – now in its third year is at the top of the list.

“The WISF Power 100 celebrates the extraordinary women security leaders who are changing expectations, having an impact, changing perceptions and driving our industry forward. We are honored to mark International Women’s Day by recognizing the impressive accomplishments of this year’s outstanding class of honorees and commending them for their vision, advocacy and impact,” he says.
