COPS’ MYALARM.CHAT Aims to Improve Subscriber Security, Reduce False Alarms

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. — COPS Monitoring announces the launch of MYALARM.CHAT to help its dealers improve customer satisfaction by giving them the ability to make more informed decisions about their security in real-time.
The addition to of MYALARM.CHAT to COPS Monitoring‘s proprietary technology suite illustrates the company’s continued commitment to reducing false alarms, optimizing police response, and providing its dealers with industry-leading tools required to remain competitive, the announcement states.

MYALARM.CHAT is said to address alarm verification and notification calls in three ways:
- Instant SMS/text notification to designated parties the way they prefer
- A link to a secure chat room where customers can share information about the alarm in real-time
- Resolution options customers can use to either electronically cancel the alarm or escalate speed of police dispatch
Together, MYALARM.CHAT’s features give end users the tools and information they need to improve the speed of alarm notification and the control they need to select the best response on every alarm in a way that customers prefer and trust, the announcement states.
In addition, the new features may also benefit COPS Monitoring dealers by improving customer satisfaction, which could translate to higher customer referrals and lower attrition rates, according to the announcement.
