Immix Software Achieves ISO 27001:2013 Certification

Immix’ certification was issued by A-lign, an independent and accredited certification body based in the United States.

TAMPA, Fla. — Immix, a leading provider of physical security software, announces that it has received ISO 27001:2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS).

ISO 27001:2013 is an information security standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards, and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

Immix’ certification was issued by A-lign, an independent and accredited certification body based in the United States, upon successful completion of a formal audit process. The certification is evidence that Immix has met rigorous international standards in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information security management system (ISMS) including the people, processes and technology that supports the organization and its Immix product.

“Immix takes security threats to our clients’ confidential information very seriously,” says Immix CTO Craig Evans. “As such, we are proud and excited to announce that we are officially an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified provider whose Information Security Management System has received third-party accreditation from the International Standards Organization.”

A-lign, an independent, third-party auditor, found Immix to have technical controls in place and formalized IT Security policies and procedures that meet the necessary standards, according to the announcement. A-lign is an ISO / IEC 27001 certification body accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to perform ISMS 27001 certifications.

The certification is said to demonstrate Immix’ continued commitment to information security at every level and ensures customers that the security of their data and information has been addressed, implemented, and properly controlled in all areas of the organization.

The company’s automation software improves the ability of commercial central stations and command centers to manage and respond to security events. Immix software is deployed in a wide variety of environments including the central station, transportation, education and enterprise markets.
