Bosch Security Systems launches the next generation of its FLEXIDOME IP 4000 and FLEXIDOME IP 5000 cameras.
The FLEXIDOME IP indoor 4000 high-definition model offers 720p resolution, while the FLEXIDOME IP outdoor 5000 infrared (IR) model offers five megapixel resolution, automatic varifocal (AVF) and integrated infrared illumination.
All FLEXIDOME IP cameras feature built-in technologies such as intelligent dynamic noise reduction (IDNR) and intelligent defog, ensuring captured images are tailored to the content of the scene and bandwidth is used only when needed, according to the company.
IDNR reduces bitrates by up to 50 percent to reduce storage costs and network strain. Intelligent defog improves the camera’s visibility when viewing foggy or other low contrast scenes, the company claims.
