COPS Monitoring to Open 4th Central Station in Early 2011

WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. — COPS Monitoring announces its newest central station, located in Nashville, Tenn., is scheduled to come on line during the first quarter of 2011.

The 4,100 square-foot facility will be interconnected with the company’s three other central stations, located in New Jersey, Florida and Arizona, to perform active load-sharing of alarm traffic. The new monitoring center is expected to be UL-listed, according to the company.

“Not only will our new facility increase our reliability from a technical standpoint, it also broadens our staffing capabilities and helps to maintain quality of service in the event that local conditions prevent dispatchers from staffing our other centers,” says Jim McMullen, president and COO, COPS Monitoring.
