Hakimo Hires Jason Wright as Director of Sales
Wright comes to Hakimo from Openpath, where he was part of the sales team during the company’s startup phase until its acquisition.
MENLO PARK, Calif. — Hakimo, a venture-backed company dedicated to modernizing physical security, says it has ramped up its go-to-market efforts with the addition of Jason Wright as the new director of sales.
The addition of Wright in this role will help Hakimo continue to build its sales team and expand the market reach for its AI software, according to the company.
Wright comes to Hakimo from Openpath Security, where he was part of the sales team during the company’s startup phase until its recent sale to Motorola.
Hakimo describes Wright as a well-known influencer in the security industry and an author of popular LinkedIn posts that drive better quality security installations. He brings to Hakimo expertise in networking and numerous connections with security systems integrators and end users, including in the Fortune 1000, technology, biotech, finance and manufacturing industries.
“I’m excited to be working with Hakimo and to help bring to market an AI software solution that helps to solve complex problems faced by GSOCs, such as risk-ranked triage of events, false alarms, operator fatigue and tailgating detection,” says Wright. “Hakimo has the unique ability to solve problems in the security industry that many other solutions haven’t been able to tackle.”
Hakimo’s AI software operates much like an AI Assistant for monitoring teams. In addition to eliminating false alarms and operator fatigue, its data-rich analytic algorithms analyze alarms across time and diagnose faulty hardware, such as door sensors, and can identify anomalous cardholder behavior, according to the company.
Hakimo also provides a holistic solution to tailgating with a solution that provides tools to change employee behavior, which the company says is the root-cause behind tailgating. Hakimo has full API-based integrations with numerous enterprise access control and video management platforms to provide a seamless experience to security teams.
