Stanley Security Deals Sonitrol-Branded Products to 3xLogic

The partnership will result in combining video analytics and other feature sets with Sonitrol’s audio verification capabilities.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Stanley Security and video analytics provider 3xLogic have reached a definitive agreement where 3xLogic will assume ownership of research and development, technical support and certain marketing activities for products developed under the Sonitrol brand.

The focus of the transaction will be to bring the combined strengths of the two companies to the development and delivery of innovative Sonitrol-branded products, according to a press statement. In addition, 3xLogic will take ownership of the operations at Sonitrol’s Orlando facility.

The agreements forming the relationship went into effect June 1.

The modular, scalable security solutions, including the industry leading audio verification technology that Sonitrol can bring to the table, paired with 3XLogic’s distinctive video analytics will create a new niche in the security market,” says Jeremy Morton, Stanley Security’s vice president of software and controls.

The partnership enhances 3xLogic’s reach in the security industry, bringing the company’s video verification and mobile capabilities to complement Sonitrol‘s audio alarm verification products and its global network of franchisees, the company’s state.
