UCC Hosts 13th Annual Extreme Outdoors Hunting Extravaganza, Attendance in the Hundreds
The fate of the popular dealer event was in doubt after UCC’s sale to Lydia Security Monitoring in January.

UCC dealers took part in a round of golf among a bunch of other activities over the course of the event.
SAN ANTONIO – Contract monitoring provider United Central Control (UCC) recently held its two-day 13th Annual Extreme Outdoors Hunting Extravaganza, with attendance reaching nearly 200 dealers.
“Our two-day extreme event is the most unique of its kind in the world of contract monitoring,” says Mark Matlock, UCC senior vice president of sales.
Festivities began with a five-star dinner and social reception with live music.
The second day kicked off with a round of golf for UCC dealers, followed by shooting skeet and heading out on a bird hunt organized by a Texas adventure company.
The extravaganza ended on a high note with a Texas-style steak dinner and raffles for prizes given away by UCC and its sponsors.
There was some concern among dealers about whether or not the popular event would even take place after UCC’s sale to Lydia Security Monitoring in January.
“One of the most-asked questions from dealers after the acquisition was whether or not UCC would continue to host its annual Extravaganza,” says Jim McMullen, Lydia’s COO. “A company’s identity also relies heavily on the relationships it has with its dealers. It’s obvious how important this event is to UCC and its dealers and how it contributes to the company’s unique personality.”
