DMP Introduces Z-Wave Plus Compatibility for Smart Home Panels
The 738Zplus module brings Z-Wave Plus compatibility to the DMP Virtual Keypad app and graphic touchscreen keypad.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — DMP announces the addition of Z-Wave Plus device compatibility with the release of the DMP 738Zplus Z-Wave Plus module.
End users can now control a variety of Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus devices in their home or small business using the Virtual Keypad app or graphic touchscreen keypad.
“Users continue to be eager for the convenience and functionality promised by home automation systems, but were deterred by the complexity and high price,” says DMP Senior Vice President, Joe Hurst. “Z-Wave Plus devices, used in conjunction with DMP panels, offer a simple, low-cost way for home and business owners to add these desired remote control features.”
The 738Zplus Z-Wave Module allows DMP panels to communicate with up to 232 Z-Wave/Z-Wave Plus devices such as light controls, light bulbs, door locks, garage door openers and thermostats.
The 738Zplus is automatically recognized by DMP panels and no additional programming is required. Once the 738Zplus is connected to a panel, users can immediately begin adding Z-Wave devices to their system.

- Z-45603: Z-Wave Light Control and Appliance Module
- Z-45740: Z-Wave In-Wall Toggle Style On/Off Relay Switch
- Z-45741: Z-Wave Toggle Style Auxiliary Switch
- Z-45742: Z-Wave In-Wall Dimmer Switch
- Z-99100-004: Z-Wave Door Deadbolt, Polished Brass
- Z-99100-005: Z-Wave Door Deadbolt, Satin Nickel
- Z-99100-006: Z-Wave Door Deadbolt, Venetian Bronze
- Z-99100-061: Z-Wave Traditional Round Deadbolt, Polished Brass

- DMP XT30/XT50 Series panels, Version 171 or higher
- DMP XR150/XR550 Series panels
- All Z-Wave and Z-Wave Plus devices
738Zplus modules connected to DMP XT30/XT50 Series panels with Version 171 firmware or higher provide full Z-Wave Plus functionality. DMP XT30/XT50 Series panels with Version 125 or earlier provide standard Z-Wave functionality.
