ADT Commercial Buys Low-Voltage Integrator SAFE Electronics
SAFE Electronics specializes in the system design and installation of fire alarm and suppression systems, security alarms, video surveillance and access control.
BOCA RATON, Fla. — ADT Commercial announces it has acquired Las Vegas-based SAFE Electronics Inc., continuing its strategy to expand its nationwide geographic footprint.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition comes a month after ADT Commercial purchased the assets and customer agreements of Atlanta-based Ackerman Security Systems’ commercial sales and service division.
Established in 1984, SAFE Electronics has been a family-owned and operated low-voltage systems integrator, helping to protect people and property across the state of Nevada, according to the company.

SAFE Electronics specializes in the system design and installation of fire alarm and suppression systems, security alarms, video surveillance and access control for a wide range of commercial industries, including in retail, industrial facilities, institutional environments, hotels and hospitality, gaming and entertainment arenas, and manufacturing sites.

Prior to the Ackerman deal, ADT Commercial acquired Katy, Texas-based integrator CLS Technology, a family-owned business that specializes in installing, inspecting and maintaining fire alarm, video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, emergency notification, and intercom and sound reinforcement systems across a variety of commercial environments.
