ESA Rebrands Young Professional Group to Rising Leaders Group

ESA says the newly titled group will continue to maintain the principles of the YSP Group, focusing on leadership development, philanthropy, government relations and mentorship.

IRVING, Texas — The Electronic Security Association (ESA) has rebranded its Young Security Professionals (YSP) Group to the Rising Leaders Group in an effort to be inclusive of all up-and-coming professionals.

The introduction of the new branding corresponds with the release of the dates and location for the Rising Leaders Forum, scheduled Oct. 2-4 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

ESA says the newly titled group will continue to maintain the principles of the YSP Group, focusing on four pillars: leadership development, philanthropy, government relations and mentorship.

“ESA recognizes the need to cultivate and provide valuable resources and networking for all of our industry’s rising leaders,” says Robert Few, who serves as Rising Leaders Group chairman. “As such, we don’t want to focus so much on fitting into a specific age bracket — rather, we’re dedicated to creating valuable and unique experiences to the people who will shape and drive the future of our industry as we know it.”

The upcoming forum is dedicated to new ways of purposeful learning, quality networking and activities specifically designed for industry professionals. The event will offer some of the most unconventional team-building and leadership exercises in the industry, according to ESA.  It is also where ESA’s Mentorship Program participants are recognized.
