Mark Sepulveda to Be Honored With 2018 CAA George A. Weinstock Award
MARINA DEL REY, Calif. — Mark Sepulveda of Monrovia, Calif.-based USA Alarm Systems will receive the 2018 California Alarm Association (CAA) George A. Weinstock Award for lifetime achievement and service to the industry.
The award announcement will be officially made at the CAA leadership breakfast at ISC West 2018 (April 11, 7:30 a.m.; Sands Expo & Convention Center, Galileo room 1001).
Sepulveda will be honored at the 2018 CAA Winter Convention & Tribute Dinner at The Fairmont San Francisco on December 7. Sepulveda has been active in the industry and served in various leadership roles for the local and state association for almost four decades.
“Mark is a great example of the quality of the people who volunteer their time and resources to support the growth of our industry,” says CAA President Chuck Petrusha. “For nearly 40 years he has volunteered as a member of the local and state Board of Directors and provided guidance to ensure our ability to represent our industry.”
The CAA Tribute Dinner serves as the annual fundraiser to support educational, training, public outreach and industry advocacy programs for the electronic security industry in California.
“I am honored to be selected to receive this award and appreciate the significance based on the accomplishments and contributions of the past recipients,” Sepulveda says. “George Weinstock set a standard of excellence and I am humbled to be considered in that company.”
The CAA is the statewide professional trade association for installing companies and suppliers of electronic security products and services. Tribute and Convention Sponsorship Packages range from $3,000 to $25,000 and information will be posted at caaonline.org.
