ISC West 2019 will be held April 9-12 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. Ahead of this year’s show, SSI reached out to Platinum Tools Marketing Manager Jason Chesla to find out what the company will be showcasing at ISC West.
What is the top product or offering your company is showing off at ISC West this year?
Platinum Tools will be introducing some great new products at ISC West in 2019, including the launch of the MapMaster mini Pocket Cable Tester [p/n T109C; MSRP $59.95].

What other products or offerings would you like to highlight, and what are some of their qualities and benefits?
Waterproof RJ45 Splice Coupler. There are those installs where your Ethernet connections will need ruggedized protection due to exposure to water, dust, corrosion, harsh elements and vibration. Our Waterproof RJ45 Coupler System rated to meet those harsh environmental conditions commonly found in outdoor and indoor installs.
How do your company and its offerings address the needs of differing market niches such as hospitals, schools and/or universities?
Our company meets the needs of this industry but developing products that follow all the standards and specs that they are following. Also, we try to offer products that will meet the current price point that these groups are looking for.
What else is new or noteworthy about your company for 2019?
Platinum Tools is at a great point in the company’s history because we are launching so many new products each year. These new products are innovative and meet our customers’ needs.
What is your company’s overall value proposition to schools, universities and/or hospitals? Why should they do business with you?
Platinum Tools currently has a large portfolio of product that are perfect for these markets and are continually developing and launch product for the cable installers and integrators these markets.
