ADT Selected as Exclusive Security Provider for National Retail Chain

ADT will provide intrusion detection, video and fire alarm monitoring for more than 750 locations of national retailer Tuesday Morning.

BOCA RATON, Fla. —ADT (NYSE: ADT) has been named as the exclusive provider of security solutions for Tuesday Morning, and entered into a chainwide agreement for an extended service plan that includes maintenance for all security solutions.

Headquarted in Dallas, Tuesday Morning is a national retail chain established in 1974 specializing in both domestic and international closeouts of medium to high-end name brand gifts, luxury home textiles, home furnishings, housewares and seasonal décor.

Prior to the deal, Tuesday Morning operated its own central station to monitor its alarm systems, according to an announcement. ADT has since converted all systems and taken over the monitoring for both intrusion detection and fire alarm panels where applicable. ADT also installs and services the IP-based video systems for Tuesday Morning.

“We are very pleased with the service and support we receive from ADT,” says Sanford Siegel, Tuesday Morning’s senior manager of loss prevention and safety. “Their professional monitoring stations provide us with greater peace of mind that our stores, our associates and our guests are well protected.”

Tuesday Morning is part of ADT’s 1Touch program, which provides Tuesday Morning with a dedicated project manager and a support team tasked to deliver exceptional customer service and support, according to the company.

The retailer has also adopted ADT’s eSuite Account Management tool which, is said to help them streamline the administration of their security solutions from a single secure portal or any connected mobile device. eSuite provides the ability to view their data, modify schedules, view tests, incidents, alarms and service calls — while providing audit trails and reporting for compliance.

“This latest contract for a chainwide extended service plan further cements our partnership with Tuesday Morning. We are now in a better position to ensure that their systems are working at peak performance while helping them more accurately manage their services,”says Bob Dale, ADT’s senior vice president of national account sales.
