Alarm Systems Acquires Milwaukee Security Systems Provider
Associated Technical Services provides custom access control and video surveillance systems.
QUINCY, Illinois — Alarm Systems has acquired security solutions provider Associated Technical Services (ATS) and its affiliated music systems company. Alarm Systems is based in Quincy, Illinois, while ATS and Southern Musicast (the music systems company) are located in Milwaukee.
ATS is a provider of custom security systems in access control and video surveillance. It was founded by David and Charles Janzer back in 1984. Southern Musicast provides sound services for public spaces.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The companies will keep their names in the transaction but will be rebranded by Alarm Systems.
Alarm Systems is a national Honeywell authorized security dealer in the residential and commercial space. Prior to these transactions, Alarm Systems dealt exclusively with Honeywell products.
“Our business model and close partnership with Honeywell were a perfect fit for this longstanding company. ATS is a well-run company and a leader in providing outstanding service to their customers,” said Alarm Systems CEO and President Ronald D. Haught, Jr. “It was important that our deal provided a way for David and Chuck to continue to serve the established relationships with customers. We value their experience and the continuing benefit they bring to our company. Our purchase of ATS allows us to quickly expand into the Milwaukee area with our existing Honeywell Platinum dealership.”
