SD Marketing Co-Founder David Morgan Honored by California Alarm Association

The CAA presented Morgan with the 2022 Mark Schubert Memorial Award for demonstrating an exceptional level of professionalism and passion for the industry.

COVINA, Calif. — David Morgan, co-founder of SD Marketing, was recently honored as the California Alarm Association 2022 Mark Schubert Memorial Award winner at the most recent annual Palm Springs Convention.

The Award, sponsored by ISC West, honors individuals who demonstrate dedication to the industry through volunteerism within the CAA. Morgan’s efforts throughout his years within the industry have included volunteering as the CAA Communications Chair over the last six years, having worked closely with the board and local chapters throughout the state.

“David Morgan has demonstrated steadfast volunteerism for the past many years. Many people within the industry and within the CAA have benefitted from his tireless efforts and willingness to impart his industry knowledge. The CAA was pleased to bestow the honor to a very deserving CAA member,” says Michael Salk, president, California Alarm Association.

Morgan has dedicated his life to marketing and has managed marketing for some of the nation’s largest brands, including Experian’s FreeCreditReport.com, United Online’s NetZero, Adidas, Proflowers and Guthy-Renker, according to the announcement.

For almost a decade, he has focused solely on the security industry, co-founding SD Marketing, an agency dedicated to implementing targeted and proven marketing strategies within the industry worldwide.

Leaders within the CAA nominate individuals within the CAA who demonstrate an exceptional level of professionalism and passion for the industry, as was demonstrated by the award’s namesake, Mark Schubert.
