Podcast: PSA Security President Bill Bozeman Talks Latest Acquistion, TEC 2018 Event

Scott Goldfine interviewed PSA Security President Bill Bozeman about its acquistion of USAV and gives a sneak peek of what’s in store for next year’s TEC event.

WESTMINSTER, Colo. ― Security Sales & Integration Editor-in-Chief Scott Goldfine sat down with PSA Security President Bill Bozeman at this year’s PSA TEC event to discuss the company’s recent acquisition of USAV and its affiliate CI Edge.

Bozeman explains, “Originally an acquisition wasn’t planned, but the plan did call for PSA to go into the pro a/v business because we felt our business model was a good fit…to support systems integrators in the A/V space, just like we’ve been doing in the security space, so the business models for the operators are very similar.”

USAV noticed PSA readying to enter the A/V space and reached out to the company about being acquired.

Bozeman also talks about the PSA TEC’s move back to Denver due to a rapidly growing list of attendees and partners.

“It’s our goal to not turn away partners and with the A/V group coming, if we stay here we’d be turning away 100’s of people.”

Listen to Bozeman discuss all this and more below.
