Brinks Home Security Annual 5K Raises $43,000 for Mission 500

Proceeds will benefit children attending Farmers Branch Elementary, Habitat for Humanity Dallas, and children living in poverty across the U.S.
The money raised at the game enabled Mission 500 to meet its goal of filling 400 care packs with essential school supplies for donation to local children living in severe poverty.
Volunteers filled and distributed 700 backpacks with various items including pens, pencils, binders, markers and notebooks.
Each year Hikvision’s Barry Paisley participates in the Kinsmen Ride for a Lifetime event in support of the Camp Kindle program.
New Mission 500 board members include execs from Ken Gould Consulting, Anixter, Reed Exhibitions and Resideo.
The game, held at Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield Park, N.J., will raise funds as part of Mission 500’s efforts to serve children in need.
A goal to raise $125,000 at the 10th annual running of the Security 5K/2K was eclipsed by more than $20,000, marking the most successful single event to date.
The charitable organization will host an awards ceremony April 11 during ISC West to honor Brinks Home Security and the proprietor of First Response Security.
Members of Hikvision’s Northeast regional team convened at World Vision’s Teacher Resource Center to build care kits and sort donated school supplies.
