Advanced Security Technologies Acquires in Central California
Based in Southern California, AST increases its geographic presence with the purchase of Premier Security and Fire in Modesto, Calif.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Advanced Security Technologies (AST), based here, announces the acquisition of Premier Security and Fire of Modesto, Calif., for undisclosed terms.
The acquisition will allow AST to continue its growth in the residential and commercial markets, according to the announcement.
For AST CEO Bob Ricucci, the deal was especially accretive. “The Premier business model fits with what we do and how we approach client performance and satisfaction. The geographic density and size of the account base made this transaction ideal for all parties,” he says. “Our effort now will build upon the already excellent performance of Premier, and provide our new members of the AST family the very best service and total solutions possible.”
For more than two decades, Russ W. Vorse has owned and operated Premier Security and Fire, servicing residences and businesses throughout the Golden State’s Central Valley.
Vorse, expresses, “We’re confident that AST can provide the same level of service that our customers have come to expect from us.”
The purchase was financed by Alarm Financial Services, which provides funding programs for operating alarm dealers throughout the United States. “Our partnership with Alarm Financial Services has been instrumental in successfully completing this transaction,” says Ricucci.
