In his previous role, Taff provided consultative onsite security assessments across various verticals, with a primary focus on commercial real estate. His role involved generating technical security designs using proprietary software and collaborating effectively with channel partners to secure preferred pricing and optimal design solutions.

In addition to his professional achievements, Taff has been involved in various professional organizations, holding leadership positions such as Chapter Secretary at ASIS International, young professional chairman at CoreNet International and corporate sponsorship liaison at The Humanity Share.
His commitment to professional development is further evident through his involvement in organizations like International Facility Management Association (IFMA), International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA), Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Taff is an alum of the University of Iowa, where he studied economics and business administration. He has received several accolades, including The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) from BOMA International in 2018 and an education scholarship from ASIS International in 2021.
Additionally, he holds an Associate Protection Professional (APP) designation from ASIS International and obtained an Illinois real estate license in 2018.
