Sights and Takeaways From ESX 2016
Provident Security CEO Mike Jagger, an SSI Editorial Advisory Board member, has traveled extensively to gain firsthand knowledge about process-driven management, the topic of a session he led at ESX 2016. Jagger’s travels have included going onsite to facilities in Japan to learn about “lean” manufacturing principles and processes, which are a systematic method for the elimination of waste. Jagger has implemented these and other concepts to improve efficiencies throughout his organization, including customer service, back-office processes and ensuring the company’s five-minute response guarantee to alarm events.
Look for waste in your company and kill it off, he says. “The waste is the opportunity [to improve efficiencies],” Jagger advised.
