Security Partners Integrates Hosted Video Service by Axis Communications

LANCASTER, Pa. — Security Partners announces it has integrated a hosted video Cloud service from Axis Communications with the Bold automation software at its central monitoring stations.
AXIS Guardian is a Cloud service that is said to give alarm companies the ability to expand their offering with new services and increase recurring monthly revenue (RMR). The service, operated and maintained by Axis, is designed to be tightly integrated into central station monitoring software to streamline the alarm handling flow.
“We are very excited to partner and offer our dealers the quality services, increased revenue opportunities, and top of the line technology of AXIS Guardian,” says Security Partner President Randy Hall.
The dedicated alarm operator web application increases alarm operation efficiency with remote video verification. The web and mobile applications also allow the end customer to access the camera system for their own business operations during regular business hours.
AXIS Guardian is described as a full access two-in-one security offering that allows Security Partners to visually verify whether an alarm is real or false and to respond accordingly — oftentimes without dispatching personnel to the site.
“We have developed AXIS Guardian in partnership with alarm companies and security providers to give them a competitive advantage through a complete end-to-end security service offering,” says Mike King, manager, hosted video, Axis Communications.
Security Partners operates central stations in California, Pennsylvania, Texas and Nevada. Each facility is UL and FM listed and features 24/7 redundancy. The central stations are also staffed with TMA Five Diamond-certified personnel.
In May, the wholesale monitoring services provider announced the groundbreaking of its new corporate headquarters and monitoring center in Lancaster.
The new project is the beginning of a revitalization of the historic complex and will feature luxury apartments, a restaurant with rooftop bar and a to-be-determined building, according to the company.
The John Best building was built in the 1800s and was originally used as a manufacturing facility for John Best & Sons steam engine and boiler works.
