Top 5 Surveillance Videos of the Week: Police Chase Ends Up in Resident’s Backyard

Other top surveillance videos of the week include an accident in a car wash, looters stealing from a CVS pharmacy and more.

The coronavirus has had a serious impact on our daily lives. Not even the top surveillance videos of the week are immune to COVID-19.

Due to much of the country (and world) being quarantined, there is unsurprisingly a lack of new interesting surveillance videos. In order to make sure we can keep bringing you this weekly feature to help lighten the mood in these trying times, we will temporarily be reducing the number of videos from 9 to 5.

Now, on to this week’s top surveillance videos…

Imagine you’re in your house working from home when all of the sudden you get a notification from you’re security camera. When you open the notification, you see a police chase happening in your own backyard.

That’s exactly what happened to a homeowner in Maryland. Surveillance video shows multiple police cars chasing a suspect through his backyard, leaving behind tire tracks in the grass. The vehicles nearly hit two dogs playing in the yard.

The police would end up stopping by after the chase to explain what happened. They even offered to pay for the damage of the lawn.

Also this week…

Last week we witnessed hundreds of looters storm a Walmart following a peaceful protest in Florida. New surveillance video has been released showing the same thing happening, this time at a CVS in the same area.

The footage shows two employees nervously calling 911 as the looters try to break in. Once the entrance is breached the employees head for the backdoor as the store and pharmacy are looted.
