AtlasIED Hires Tom Kachnik as Western Sales Manager for Transportation Solutions

PHOENIX – Global commercial audio, communications and security solutions manufacturer AtlasIED announced the hiring of Tom Kachnik as transportation sales manager for the western United States.

Kachnik “will focus on increasing the adoption of AtlasIED’s transportation solutions in the region, including the GLOBALCOM enterprise communications platform,” according to the company announcement.

Kachnik is an audio industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in enterprise communications systems. He has developed and deployed large audiovisual systems across North America, including projects for Caesars Entertainment, Google, MGM and Facebook.

Prior to joining AtlasIED, Kachnik served as general manager for integration and live production at Solotech, a Montreal-based global systems integration and staging company. Prior to joining Solotech, Kachnik held positions with a variety of audio companies including PSX, Ford AV and Plus 4 Marketing.

“Tom brings a wealth of knowledge to AtlasIED about the IPTV, SAAS, enterprise control, video, and endpoint systems deployment markets,” says John Goodrich, director of global installed systems at AtlasIED, in the company announcement.

“All of these markets are experiencing tremendous growth and we look forward to adding his expertise to help expand the business for the company in western U.S. while providing customers with the highest level of service,” he says.

AtlasIED has a wide range of audio and mass communications solutions for the transportation market. More than 300 airports worldwide have installed the company’s GLOBALCOM enterprise communications platform, plus multiple train, subway and bus stations throughout the world.
