Former Honeywell Staffers Launch Marketing Agency for Installing Security Contractors

Make Nice Media principals will officially introduce the new company at the Honeywell CONNECT conference in San Diego.

STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Make Nice Media, a new marketing and advertising agency for security dealers and integrators, will launch at the Honeywell CONNECT 2017 Conference in San Diego. As an official sponsor of the event, the company will be demonstrating its suite of services, including video production, social media and content marketing to target either businesses or consumers.

The agency was started by David Gottlieb, its managing director, and Tony Martin, its creative director. Both men served in marketing and communications managerial roles with Honeywell for many years. While their new company is focused heavily on serving dealers and integrators in the security industry, it has already begun serving clients in other industries, including a California-based cybersecurity software company, a start-up in the beverage industry and a U.S. manufacturer serving the beautician and art industries.

The Make Nice Media offering will include standardized promotional packages, as well as custom creative development and production services. They will also introduce personalized videos, which are aimed at gaining attention and increasing sales, drive system upgrades and improve retention through more effective customer on-boarding.

“At Make Nice Media, we are all about ‘marketing with a personal touch’ and developing content that informs, influences and motivates,” says Gottlieb. “With the clutter and noise today, you can cut through with content that reaches people through storytelling and speaks to them in a thoughtful, engaging way.”

The Honeywell CONNECT Conference is an annual event that is attended by independent dealers and integrators. Event programming includes general session presentations, educational sessions and networking.

“For us, it’s a great opportunity to demonstrate our services to the attendees and show them how we can help them grow their business and reach new customers,” Gottlieb says
