Other top surveillance videos of the week include footage from the night of the David Ortiz shooting, a money-stealing monkey and more.

In this week’s Top Surveillance Videos…

If there’s anything I’ve learned from countless movies and television shows (as well as my parents), it’s you don’t mess with family.

Vashon Flowers was charged with shooting and killing his wife, Jamie Thomas-Flowers, at their Michigan home in May.

Surveillance footage from his June 3 court date shows London Thomas, Thomas Flowers son, leap over a barrier during a preliminary examination and head straight towards his mother’s alleged killer.

Thomas gets within inches of Flowers but is grabbed by a security guard. Several more guards rush to try and subdue him but Thomas is too strong. He eventually appears to voluntarily give in and be put in handcuffs.

Also this week…

Shocking news broke Sunday night when it was reported former Red Sox slugger, and all around great guy, David Ortiz was shot at a bar in the Domincan Republic. Surveillance video has since come out that shows how the incident went down.

Security cameras caught a meeting between the suspects in two gray cars and the accused motorcycle driver near the bar before the ambush.

The video then shows the motorcycle head towards the bar, minutes before the gunman walks up to Ortiz and shoots him in the back.

Make sure to check out the rest of this week’s top surveillance videos which include slipping firefighters, a demolition derby at a gas station and much more.
