Verkada Closes Series D Fundraising Round With $305M in Fresh Capital

New Series D capital will allow Verkada to continue its robust expansion plans with new products and additional employees around the world.

SAN MATEO, Calif. – Cloud-based enterprise building security and managed services platform Verkada has wrapped up a Series D fundraising round with $305 million in fresh capital after a $100 million push led by Alkeon Capital, chief financial officer Kameron Rezai announced in a blog post this week.

Lightspeed Venture Partners also contributed to the $100 million segment of the funding round, Rezai says in his post on the company blog Monday (Oct. 9).
