B Safe Ups Marketing Game, Contributes Growth to Getting Social

2019 SSI Installer of the Year runner-up B Safe recently created its first marketing department in the history of the company.

Delaware-based B Safe Security was founded more than 40 years ago. Though technology has changed over time, the company’s mission has stayed the same: to provide protection and peace of mind throughout its communities through integrated electronic security and life-safety solutions to businesses, educational institutions, governments and homes.

“We believe in utilizing cutting-edge technology, quality-engineered products and outstanding customer service to help ensure the safety of our clients. We believe these values are what has led B-Safe to be successful for over 40 years now,” says B Safe Senior Vice President Joe Gallagher.

B-Safe says the initiative that led to recent growth in 2018 and 2019 is the company’s commitment to social media.

“We have revitalized all of our social media pages, and also expanded onto platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram. This allows us to reach out and touch our customers in a more personal way, creating an online presence that makes them feel more connected with their security company,” says Anthony Paparo, B Safe marketing manager. “This presence allows us the opportunity to get a read on our customer base at all times, but in addition it encourages us to keep going strong when we get positive feedback on a promotion, a charitable event we supported, or even a simple social media post.”

In 2018, B Safe created the first marketing department in the history of the company. The marketing team handles social media channels, as well as the design of marketing campaigns and implementation of marketing strategy.

They are also responsible for the company’s electronic communications plans, creative vendor management, marketing budgets and tracking the results of campaigns.

An integral part of B Safe’s recipe for success is exceptional customer service. The company offers 24/7 customer service, including on holidays.

“Our company prides itself on the real people that our clients and potential customers get when they call us in the middle of their work day. During our hours of operation, a customer will get a real person when they call,” says Neil Appel, vice president of sales and marketing.
